TLV Sensor — Tank Level Vision

TLV Sensor — Tank Level Vision

Non-contact optical level sensor for tanks and vessels, with a standard analogue output.

$459.00

The TLV (Tank Level Vision) Sensor is a compact, non-contact level and distance sensor housed in a machined polycarbonate enclosure and is designed and assembled in the USA. It mounts to a fitting on top of your tank, looks down at the liquid surface, and measures distance using optical time-of-flight. It supports a wide range of tank connection sizes, including both straight and tapered threads, standard and metric, plus sanitary connections to suit your vessel — with a 1" NPT process connection as standard. On-board filtering delivers a stable reading that is mapped to the analogue output your PLC or controller expects. Configure the output mode and measurement window over USB-C with the free TLV Configurator app, or plug in a USB drive and log measurements straight to CSV in the field. TLV Configurator

Every TLV Sensor is set up over USB-C with the free TLV Configurator for Windows — no programmer, terminal, or licence required. Connect the sensor and the app reads back its stored settings, then lets you pick the output mode (4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, 0-5 V, or 0-10 V), set the measurement window that maps distance onto that range, choose how the output behaves on a fault, name the sensor, and turn the status LED on or off. A live readout shows the measured distance and the resulting output as you tune, so you can confirm the setup against the real tank before you commit it. Configurations save to your account as reusable profiles, so you can apply the same setup across a fleet of sensors, and the app handles firmware updates too.
